The Community Dinner is a NO COST, event provided for the benefit of the community by your friends at the Windsor Locks Congregational Church.

Games, prizes, photo props, snacks, candy and fun await you and your children. A real blast for your kids. Don’t worry parents we’ll have coffee and snacks on hand for the adults, and yes, you can have some candy too. So plan to join many other families from the community for this great INDOOR Childrens Harvest Festival event.

Bring a recently purchased food item or items to help us FILL the TRUCK and battle hunger in Windsor Locks. With fuel and food prices rising many families will struggle this year to afford a Thanksgiving dinner. Join us in expressing our gratitude for all we have by sharing with those in our community who are struggling.

FREE PONY RIDES

We were able to rescheduled the Pony Rides that were rained out last month and add them to the Fill the Truck event from 11am to 12pm. 

There is no charge for the pony rides. They are free, but we’re asking everyone to consider bringing a newly purchased food item or items with them for our Fill the Truck Food Drive that is being held that same day. All donations will be donated to the Town of Windsor Locks food pantry. We thought this might be a great way to provide this fun event for the kids, while also supporting the town’s efforts to impact hunger for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Join Us for TRUNK or TREAT

RAIN or SHINE

The present forecast for Saturday is not looking good for an outdoor Trunk or Treat event, but no worries, we have already moved the event INDOORS. It’s going to be even more AWESOME! Each of our classrooms are decorated to offer different themes from Scooby Doo to Star Wars to WWII soldiers and a real live Army Truck that will transport your children to the Land of OZ and so much more.

Along with games, prizes, photo props, doughnuts, cider and candy the event on Saturday promises to be a real blast for your kids.  And it’s not just about the kids. Don’t worry parents we’ll have coffee and snacks on hand for the adults, and yes, you can have some candy too.
