Ray McDaid comes to us with over 25 years of pastoral experience. Ray grew up on the North Shore of Ma. where he met and married his wife Julie of over 30 years. The McDaids have four children, as well as four grandchildren. Ray spent a number of years in his early twenties and thirties as a successful general contractor before realizing his call to ministry. He received his Master of Divinity degree in 2003 from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton MA. and has served on pastoral staff in a number of churches in Ma, and NH. Ray also served as a Director of Recovery Solutions with a NH based recovery coalition where he was instrumental in establishing a men’s recovery home and developing a unique Christian based Twelve Step ministry.
We are excited to have Ray and Julie join us and believe the Lord is going to bring something unique to Windsor Locks through their ministry.

Some of these ministries include usher, deacon, oversight of Life Groups, pastoral counselor and elder. He and his wife, Kara, were married in 2003. After growing up attending WLCC themselves, they feel deeply grateful to be raising their own children in the place where God has blessed them so richly.
Brendan Prout came to WLCC in December, 2014 as a pianist and organist. Brendan presently serves as our Worship Director overseeing both the traditional worship as well as the contemporary worship team. Brendan lives in Ludlow, MA with his wife, Rebecca, and two children, Arianna and Aidan.
Brendan received formal training throughout his high school years before graduating Boston College with a major in music and a minor in education. He has continued onto graduate studies in Music Education at New York University. Brendan actively teaches individual piano lessons to students from Springfield to Hartford.
We are truly fortunate to be able to share in Brendan’s joy of musical worship. We all look forward to his continued ministry of honoring the Lord through music at WLCC.
Paula Wright became a member of WLCC in 1984 when she and her family moved to Broad Brook, CT from Buffalo, NY. While settling into their new home, Paula started praying about where God wanted her to go to church. God lead her to visit WLCC and she knew from the first moment she worshipped in the sanctuary that it was where God wanted her. God has richly blessed Paula and her family throughout the years, as they have been nourished by the rich biblical teaching and participated in the warm encouraging fellowship that is a legacy of WLCC. She and her husband Hal have been married for 36 years and their children, Christy and James who grew up in the church, are now married as well and living nearby. Paula is a teacher by trade and over the years she has taught a variety of grade levels and subjects.
Kara Fourbes has attended WLCC since she was about 5 years old. After graduating high school she spent four years at Roberts Wesleyan College and earned her bachelor’s degree in art education. She and her husband, Devon, decided to raise their own family at this church and feel they have been deeply blessed by God as a result. Kara shares the church’s heart for children and is excited that God has given her this opportunity to be a part of training them for the Kingdom of God!
