Love God – Love Others – Serve the World!

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforted us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”
II Corinthians 1:3, 4

Mission Moments – October 15, 2017

We are pleased and excited to announce that our October Mission Moments will feature Dave Ambrose from the Hartford City Mission. This ministry has been serving youth in North Hartford since 1998, starting with a Saturday morning Sidewalk “Sonday” School. Today HCM operates programs for children and youth around the ministry house located at 280 Vine Street, North Hartford. There are many opportunities for our congregation to reach out and get involved in a ministry that is making such a difference in the youth close to our home. Please plan to join us on October 15th in welcoming Dave to share what is most important to their ministry and the ways in which we may serve.

Please continue to pray for our upcoming mission trip to Africa!

Please continue to pray for the upcoming mission trip to the Lion of Judah Academy in Tanzania, Africa. As many of you know, The Lion of Judah is a Christian school that was begun by our former pastor and his wife, Hart and Lynn Inlow.

The trip is scheduled for July 2018. The team will be working with Hart and Lynn Inlow to finalize dates for July and preparations for the trip. We would love for you to join the team!

The cost of the trip for individuals is approximately $3500.00. More details to follow but we wanted to get the word out as soon as possible and ask for you to prayerfully consider if God may be placing this mission opportunity on your heart. Please see any Mission Team member if you are interested.

Possible Summer 2018 mission trip

Our mission team is also looking at a combined youth and adult mission trip for next summer. Hurricane Harvey left devastation to Houston, TX and the surrounding areas. We are currently exploring ways to serve with the EFCA outreach. We will keep you updated as plans progress.

As always, we appreciate the opportunity to serve this congregation and are grateful for your continued financial support. Our church has built strong, lasting relationships with these ministry partners.

Your Mission Team

We may not be around right now, but you can send us an email and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
