October Mission Moment
Sunday, October 21st
Lori Sanchez will be presenting a snapshot of the current ministries we support here at WLCC.
Can there be any joy greater than being used by God to lead a person to salvation through Jesus Christ? Knowing Jesus, worshipping Him, glorifying Him, and sharing the “Good News” is our primary purpose. We do this by sharing the Gospel with those in our immediate area of influence, and we often partner with those beyond our reach by financially supporting those on the mission field. Our Congregation takes the call to support our partners in ministry seriously and has demonstrated this time and time again through giving to missions.
October-November begins our stewardship campaign for the coming year. Financial giving to Missions is an integral part of the ministry here at WLCC. In our effort to fulfill the great commission, to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth, we are pleased to partner with some very special ministries. With many of these we have had a long, fulfilling, relationship. Some we support on a consistent month-to-month or quarterly basis and others we support through special gifts throughout the year such as the Trinity Men’s Shelter in Skowhegan, ME or the New Hope Women’s Shelter in Solon, Me. Our support is crucial for these ministries to continue God’s work. The team is grateful for all your financial support this past year. We are blessed by these ministries and pray for continued resources to support them.
The support of these ministries will only be possible with your financial assistance. Please prayerfully consider your continued support. Please be sure to indicate on your check, or giving envelope, the portion you wish to be designated for Missions. If you have any questions about these ministries or would like to know more about them, please see any Mission Team member or email: [email protected].
