Sunday Worship Services

9:30am Blended Worship Service

Visiting any church for the very first time can be a tough experience. We want to put you at ease. Your first visit to WLCC will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching, friendly people, and a place where you can feel welcome and “at home”! Here are a few frequently asked questions:

FAQs for Your First Visit

  • When does Worship begin?
  • Our blended worship service begins at 9:30 AM and will last roughly 1 hour and 5 minutes.We include hymns as well as contemporary praise music.

  • How should I dress?
  • WLCC has a come-as-you-are atmosphere. If you prefer to dress up for church that is fine. However, if your personal style is more casual that is fine as well – come in dress casual or even jeans and a t-shirt. We only ask that you demonstrate modesty in your attire.

  • Where should I park?
  • WLCC has a parking lot on the north side of the church building and additional in our back lot beside Montgomery Hall. Should both these areas be full, you are welcomed to park in the USPS parking area.

  • Where do I enter the building?
  • You can enter the building through a number of entrances. Closest to the back parking lots you would be entering through Dexter Hall, which leads to the pulpit (front) of the sanctuary. Not to worry- many of the folks in the congregation come in this way.  From the handicap parking areas and for those walking, you are always welcomed through our front doors which lead to the Narthex (back) of the sanctuary and will have ushers to greet you.

  • What do I do when I arrive?
  • As you arrive, ushers will meet you at the door to provide you with a service bulletin and information you might need. They’re also happy to help you and your family find a spot to sit.

  • What if I need Childcare?
  • Starting with the babies, there is something special for every child. At every service there is a safe, clean, and staffed nursery for children three years old and under. Let a guest receptionist know that you are interested in information about child-care during the service. They will graciously guide you to the proper location. Children in preschool or kindergarten will be given the option to join a worship service and class time tailored to them. This takes place in the library area behind the sanctuary (doorway through the left of the pulpit). They may sit with you until they are dismissed after the offertory, or they are welcomed to stay with you through the service.

  • Bathrooms?
  • If you are in the Sanctuary: the front, left doorway (left of the pulpit) will lead you to 2 bathrooms in that hallway. The first is immediately after the doorway, and a second is just around that corner. We do ask that you try to use the facilities before the sermon begins so not to distract other attendees.

We may not be around right now, but you can send us an email and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
