Sunday Worship Services

Visiting any church for the very first time can be a tough experience. We want to put you at ease. Your first visit to WLCC will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching, friendly people, and a place where you can feel welcome and “at home”! Here are a few frequently asked questions:

First Visit FAQs

  • When does Worship begin?
  • Service begins at 10:30am, and lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes. Our service is a blend of contemporary and traditional music.  The 10:30am service is followed by coffee and a light lunch. We would love it if you felt comfortable enough to join us.  We have a visitor’s table in the café area with helpful information about our church and a gift bag for you to acknowledge your visit.

  • Can first time visitors attend our adult small groups or children’s Sunday school classes?
  • Absolutely! We hold adult small groups as well as children’s Sunday school classes from 9:00-10:00am. Our sermon discussion group is ongoing from week to week and is always open to new people, as is our children’s program. Adult small groups and Children’s Sunday school programs are held in our Montgomery Hall building, at the rear of the property. Sunday school hour is followed by coffee and refreshments prior to the 10:30am service.

  • How should I dress?
  • WLCC has a come-as-you-are atmosphere. If you prefer to dress up for church that is fine. However, if your personal style is more casual that is fine as well. Come in dress casual or even jeans and a t-shirt if you like.

  • Where should I park?
  • We have a clearly marked visitor’s parking area at the rear of the building for your convenience.

  • Where do I enter the building?
  • We encourage our visitors to enter through either the rear or south door near the handicapped ramp. Both are near the visitor’s parking area. Our church is handicap accessible with handicap parking located towards the front of the ramp.

  • What if I need Childcare?
  • Starting with the babies, there is something special for every child. At every service there is a safe, clean, and professionally staffed nursery for children three years old and under. Children in preschool through 2ndgrade are ordinarily dismissed mid service for a children’s church program geared specifically for their age groups. Parents always have the option to allow their children to participate in the children’s church program or remain with them in the sanctuary.  Let a guest receptionist know that you are interested in information about child-care during the service and they will show you to the children’s area and guide you through the process.

We may not be around right now, but you can send us an email and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
